Toes to Bar: pace by band

Gymnastic, grip-limited, and priced slow because the rhythm is fragile: one missed kip turns a set of ten into three sets of three with hangs in between. The movement itself is quick; the class pricing covers the breaks that realistically punctuate it once the forearms have opinions.

The numbers

Toes to Bar is classed slow (every rep includes getting to the floor, standing back up, or moving a dead load), which puts a 1.6x multiplier on the base rep rate. That works out to:

BandSeconds per repReps per minute10 reps20 reps30 reps50 reps
Beginner4.80120:481:362:244:00
Advanced3.84150:381:161:553:12
Elite3.20180:321:041:362:40

A band is a pace, not a verdict: finishing at the Advanced line means you moved at that rate on that day. The rates and the class come from the same published config the Rep The Set app computes with, fetched live, so this page and the app cannot disagree.
