- Access controls and authentication requirements for all data access
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
Our App integrates with the following third-party services:
Authentication Providers
The App offers sign-in through Google Sign-In and Sign in with Apple. When you use these services, they may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies. We only receive the information necessary to authenticate your account (email address and user identifier). We do not have access to your Google or Apple account credentials.
Apple Services
The App uses Apple's Sign in with Apple for authentication. When you use this feature, Apple may collect information as described in Apple's Privacy Policy. We only receive the information necessary to authenticate your account (email address and user identifier). The App also uses iOS Live Activities, which is a system feature that does not transmit data to third parties.
Workout Sharing
When you choose to share a workout, the App creates a short URL that allows others to import your workout configuration. This sharing is optional and only occurs when you explicitly choose to share a workout. The shared data includes only the workout configuration (exercises, timing, structure) and does not include any personal information or workout history.
Cloud Infrastructure
We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host and operate our App backend services. AWS's privacy practices are governed by their privacy policy. Your data is stored in AWS data centers and is subject to AWS's security and privacy standards.
Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- Service Providers: We may share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf (e.g., AWS for hosting and data storage)
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction
- With Your Consent: We may share information with your explicit consent or at your direction (e.g., when you choose to share a workout via the App's sharing feature)
Your Rights and Choices
You have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access: You can access and review your personal information through the app settings
- Correction: You can update your account information and preferences at any time
- Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data directly through the app by navigating to the Profile section and selecting "Delete Account." This action will permanently delete your account, all workout data, history, preferences, and any other personal information associated with your account. You can also request account deletion by contacting us at privacy@reptheset.app. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
- Data Portability: You can export your workout data in a standard format
- Opt-Out: You can opt out of non-essential communications by adjusting your notification preferences
To exercise these rights, please contact us using the information provided in the "Contact Us" section below.
Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the App. If you delete your account through the App or by contacting us, we will delete or anonymize your personal information, except where we are required to retain it for legal, regulatory, or legitimate business purposes.
When you delete your account, all associated workout data, history, and preferences will be permanently deleted from our servers. This action cannot be undone.
Workout history and statistics may be retained in anonymized form for analytical purposes to improve our App, but this data will not be associated with your personal information.
Children's Privacy and Age Rating
Our Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information.
In the App Store, our app has been rated with "None" for both "Parental Controls" and "Age Assurance." This means the app does not require parental controls or age verification features. However, account creation requires an email address, and we recommend that users under 13 obtain parental consent before creating an account.
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the minimum age may be higher in your jurisdiction. In such cases, we will comply with applicable local laws.
International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other countries where AWS operates data centers.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
Material changes to this Privacy Policy will be communicated through the App (via in-app notification or update prompt) or via email to the address associated with your account. Continued use of the App after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
